10K Yellow and White Gold Geometrically Shaped Diamond Cluster Ring
This bold, throw back to the sixty's, geometrically designed ring is crafted in 10K yellow and white gold. A cluster of five rectangular shaped pedestals of varying heights are centrally arranged in a vertical presentation, spanning from knuckle to knuckle. Each surface and shape is slightly different and each is bead-set, in white gold, with the appropriate number of diamonds to completely cover the surface. The band is crafted in yellow gold with an open ended, rectangular shaped, high polished design that continues underneath the central diamond presentation. The fifty-one diamonds provide a 0.46 carat total weight.
Popular during the Art Deco period of the 1920s and 1930s – widely considered as one of the most creative movements in history – geometric design in jewellery saw a revival in the 1960s and 1970s and is now experiencing yet another comeback. Jewellery trends come and go, with inspiration swinging between nature and geometric man-made shapes.
