BONECO is a proud 3rd generation, family-owned business based in Widnau, Switzerland. The company began in the garage next to the Frei family home in 1956, primarily making industrial plastic products. In 1963, we produced our first humidifier, which used the heat from radiators to increase the excessively low indoor humidity during heating periods. It was a huge success and led to the creation of the BONECO brand and an entire line of humidifiers.
Our humidifiers were introduced to the North American market in 2003 (originally under the Air-O-Swiss brand) and the ultrasonic line quickly became strong sellers across the United States and Canada. In 2019, BONECO acquired the ENVION brands (including Therapure, Ionic Pro, Allergy Pro and Four Seasons), further expanding our air purifier solutions.
Today, the BONECO healthy air brand is available across North America, Europe, Russia and Asia. "Healthy air," says exactly what BONECO stands for, high-quality products designed to improve your indoor air quality and promote healthy living. The product line continues to extend the humidifier and air purifier offerings, but also includes air washers, air shower fans, and hybrid products.
