Complete 44-Piece Commemorative Dollar Collection
This comprehensive collection includes every commemorative dollar coin issued for circulation in Canada, starting with Canada's first silver dollar issued in 1935 to mark the silver jubilee of King George V through to the present. The collection includes six different silver dollars dated 1935, 1939, 1949, 1958, 1964 and 1967, six different large-size dollar coins struck in nickel dated 1970, 1971, 1973, 1974, 1982 and 1984, and 32 different loon-style dollars dated from 1992 to 2024. In total, 44 different commemorative issues are included. All but the first three coins in the collection are in uncirculated condition, while the first three are in extremely fine or better condition. The coins come attractively displayed in acrylic coin holders and a custom display case.
The commemorative dollars of Canada mark important events in Canadian history and pay tribute to Canadians who have made a significant impact on who we are as a nation. As a complete set, the collection is both visually impressive and a great way to capture a significant part of the story of Canada.
