Custom crafted and designed, this unique 18kt white gold ring is centered with a round shaped fuchsia pink 3.50 carat round shaped rubellite tourmaline. The name rubellite comes from the Latin word “rubellus” which means reddish. It is the most prized and expensive member of the tourmaline family because of its beauty and rarity. Rubellite gets the prestige of having its own name because its colour is a vivid, pink-red color but can also be purple or pink. The setting reaches upward in a dome fashion to surround the rubellite in a circular bezel and is decorated, front and back, by sixteen sporadically placed, gypsy-set diamonds (.48ct). The sides, however, each feature a double vertical row of channel-set baguette cut diamonds, stacked three per row (1.15ct). A soft brushed finish provides texture and warmth. The twenty-eight diamonds (round brilliant and baguette cuts) combine for a 1.63 carat total weight.
