Estate Originals 14K White Gold Bombé-Shaped Diamond-Set "Love" Ring

This Bombé-style ring is crafted in 14K high-polished white gold. The word love is spelled out in small diamonds across the top, all except the O, which is designed in a heart shape and is set with a 0.40 carat heart-shaped diamond. The 18 small diamonds combine for an additional 0.20 carats. 

Bombé rings have an appealing rounded curving shape. The name bombé comes from the French and literally means "bomb-shaped." This style of ring is seen from the Edwardian period onwards, however it is in the vintage 1950s, '60s and '70s that this shaping became all the rage.
