Estate Originals 18K White Gold Vintage Patek Philippe Geneve Wristwatch with Diamond-Set Lugs
This lady’s vintage Patel Phillipe Geneve wristwatch is crafted in 18K white gold and has a 26mm x 13mm case diameter with a silver colour dial and yellow numeric markers for the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions. The remaining hours are indicated with raised triangular markers. The watch operates with a mechanical movement and is attached to an aftermarket stamped 18K white gold snake bracelet with loop detail and a fold-over clasp. The attached lugs are located in the north and south positions and are each set with an 0.08 carat round brilliant cut diamond.
Patek Philippe was founded in 1839 but didn't become Patek, Philippe & Cie until 1851. The manufacturer benefits from full creative freedom which allows it to design, develop and craft watches that are considered to be the world’s finest. The tradition of innovation has been crowned by over 100 patents. Patek Philippe is an independent manufacturer which has its own research and development department and creates and engineers all movements and external components in its own workshop. All parts of the movements and cases are produced, finished, and assembled in-house. The company has been owned by the Stern family since 1932 and today is still managed by Thierry and Philippe Stern. Those who value traditional exceptional craftsmanship, exclusivity, and the allure of owning a piece of horological history gravitate towards Patek Philippe. The meticulous attention to detail and the use of high-quality materials contribute to their pricing and ensures that their timepieces hold their value over the years and often increase in worth, making them a wise investment. Buying a Patek Philippe at retail is very difficult as the waitlist can extend for years and there are only 78 authorized dealers in the United States and four in Canada. Owning a used Patek Philippe is an investment in exclusivity and luxury. Ideal for those seeking a statement timepiece that goes well beyond simply telling time, the scarcity of these watches ensures an exclusive ownership experience, enhancing their value over time.
