Estate Originals 18K Yellow Gold 4.21-Carat Golden Beryl, Peridot and Diamond Ring

As intense and everlasting as the sun, this 4.21 carat oval shaped golden beryl entrances and allures in her prong-set east/west setting. Each of the four prongs extend in column-like fashion to become the shank, and each are prong-set with five round brilliant cut diamonds. The twenty diamonds combine for 0.13 carats. An intricate assembly of thirty-four round shaped peridot intensify the shoulders and undergallery in pave settings and they provide a 0.83 carat total weight. Golden beryl gets its yellow colouring from small deposits of iron. It was first discovered in Namibia in 1913 in a pegmatite that also produced aquamarine. Today, it is sourced primarily from Brazil and Madagascar.
