Estate Originals 18K Yellow Gold Double Lion Head Bangle Bracelet

A pair of fierce felines overlap in a bypass design in this fabulous bangle bracelet fashioned in 18K yellow gold. The heavily textured and realistically rendered heads articulate flowing manes, distinctive facial ornamentation including deep set eyes, broad noses with whiskers and open mouths revealing sharp fangs. Around each neck is a white gold collar, each set with five antique rose cut diamonds. Below each collar and making up the balance of the bangle is a diagonally applied bark finish. Three bezel set rubies, set in a graduated linear pattern, flow down each neck. Measuring 6.5cm, it opens with a hinge and includes a hidden box clasp with figure '8' safety catch. This piece is circa the Georgian Era (1714 - 1837).
