Estate Originals 18K Yellow Gold Sapphire and Diamond Leaf Design Brooch with Blue Enamel

This fabulous and sizable foliate brooch, circa 1960s–1970s, is superbly crafted with five overlapping sections of rich vein patterned 18K yellow gold coiled leaves that are arranged in a circular pinwheel motion. The main vein (midrib) is beautifully painted with a cobalt blue enamel creating the perfect accompaniment to the sapphire and diamond cluster located at its heart. The 0.06-carat round, brilliant-cut diamond is surrounded by five sapphires weighing 0.90 carats.
