Estate Originals Stainless Steel and 18K Yellow Gold Tudor Princess Oysterdate Swiss Made Watch

This ladies' stainless steel and yellow gold Tudor Princess Oysterdate Swiss-made wristwatch has a 26-mm case diameter, an elegant round champagne-toned dial, diamond-set hour markers, minute markers around the outer rim, luminescent gold outlined hands and a gold-toned second hand. There is a date window at the three o'clock and a fluted fixed 18K yellow gold outer bezel. It runs on a Swiss made Tudor automatic movement. It has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal and yellow gold screw down crown. It is water resistant to 100 metres (330 feet). The watch is attached to a two-tone stainless steel and beautiful yellow gold bracelet.

Tudor watches, founded by Hans Wilsdorf, the same man behind Rolex, was initially known for producing watches for the military and professional divers. It is a sister company to Rolex offering high-quality watches at a more affordable price point. Tudor combines Swiss craftsmanship with accessible pricing, providing a range of watches from professional diving instruments to elegant dress watches.

Tudor's purpose was to offer a more affordable watch than Rolex while maintaining Rolex-like quality. Tudor debuted its Oyster collection in the mid-forties, featuring a waterproof Oyster case previously exclusive to Rolex. In 1952, Tudor released its first self-winding model, the Prince, which used a Rolex self-winding mechanism.
