Estate Originals Sterling Silver Mesh Bag Coin Purse

This fabulous antique sterling silver mesh coin purse with kiss lock closure has an ornate frame with high domed motifs and a trio of roses in each corner, front and back. This unique antique accessory was likely crafted in the Art Nouveau/Edwardian Era (1901 - 1915) or Art Deco Era (1915 - 1935) as it was a very popular accessory for society ladies, at that time. The original hanging pull ring is present and so this little purse can still be suspended from a chain or belt. The other side features a high polished oval plate, ideal for engraving an initial or two.
