About the Chef
Geoffrey Zakarian owns several unique restaurants, including The Lambs Club at The Chatwal Hotel and The National at The Benjamin Hotel in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Outside of his hospitality footprint, Zakarian is an award-winning cookbook author and Emmy-nominated television personality. Geoffrey Zakarian’s Town/Country was his debut book, launched in 2006, while his second cookbook, My Perfect Pantry, hit shelves in 2014. He is Chairman of the City Harvest Food Council, a food rescue organization dedicated to fighting hunger in New York City. On television, the chef is a long-time favourite judge on Food Network's Chopped and can be seen on Iron Chef America. Zakarian also co-hosts a TV show called The Kitchen on Food Network and hosts the network's prime-time hit, Cooks vs. Cons.
