LOLA JEANS – Sustainable Denim for All Bodies
A good pair of jean blends fashion and function and captures a chapter of our lives in a way that not many pieces of clothing can. Finding that perfect pair of jeans can be an arduous journey —from fit and cut to length, there are many boxes to be checked. But once the Goldilocks has been found, there is no going back. It will stay with you for many years, seasons, and stains.
"When I started Lola Jeans back in 2006, I wasn’t really thinking about my impact on the environment. I was running around with a duffle bag full of samples, trying to follow my dream and build a fashion brand from the ground up. Ignoring (or trying to ignore) just how polluting our industry is.” David Abissidan
Denim is a dirty business. It takes 7500 liters of water to make a single pair of jeans.
So, how do we break the cycle and begin to repair the damage done?
And, what if you’re a hardcore denim lover and a hardcore sustainability advocate?
In 2020, we acted! We built an ethical supply chain that creates Sustainable Denim for All Bodies. Driven by a circular economy, our mission is to create timeless designs that are authentically rooted in denim. From responsibly sourced fabrics to ozone washing, and laser finishing, we have reduced our water consumption by 80%.
