Umbra Udry Drying Mat

Udry drying mat with rack was inspired by clean and simple design principles, it is light, compact easy to use, clean and highly functional. Made of molded plastic and microfibre, Udry's plastic rack is top rack dishwasher safe and mat is machine washable (hang to dry). Rack can be secured to center or side of mat, and removed for easy cleaning. Can hold a variety of dinnerware, glassware or cutlery. Bonded mat is composed of three layers: super absorbant microfibre top; foam core for extra cushioning; mesh base layer to promote air circulation for fast drying. Mat cushions delicate dishes and stemware. UDry folds up and is secured with elastic for easy storage. Measures 24 inches by 18 inches. We are a Toronto-based homeware design company born over 30 years ago when graphic designer, Paul Rowan, couldn’t find a nice window shade to hang in his apartment window. So, he made one and people liked it. He soon teamed up with childhood friend, Les Mandelbaum, and Umbra (in Latin, “shade”) was born. Les and Paul began reimagining everyday items into modern ware. Today, Umbra is recognized all over the world for bringing intelligent design to everyday items. An in-house team of international designers allows us to come up with original design that speaks universally and personally to a broad customer base. The journey that started in Toronto continues—our designs can be found in over 120 countries.
