Before gracing Canadian audiences with her fresh perspective and charming personality as a host at TSC, Denise was a gifted professional singer who travelled across Canada and Europe, as well as Afghanistan. While she also worked as a host and model in countless commercials and corporate videos, one of Denise's most rewarding career experiences was when she owned and taught at her own successful music school.

A true believer in being in the moment, Denise loves the spontaneity of her job and is passionate about learning every day and constantly evolving as a host and individual. Considered strong, wise and lighthearted by her colleagues, Denise has some exceptional unknown skills including a knack for IT and fixing computers, as well as being a certified hypnotist!

Her shopping weaknesses include shoes — in particular tall boots, handbags and all the latest beauty innovations. Denise cannot live without her yoga pants, lip balm and her coveted Vitamix blender and has recently been raving about the health benefits of the organic, anti-oxidant rich chaga mushroom.

Growing up in Pickering, Ont., Denise's childhood resembled the popular 1970s sitcom, The Brady Bunch, with a brother, sister, three step brothers and a step sister. She later moved to Moose Jaw, Sask., with a population of approximately 30,000, before settling in Oakville, Ont. When Denise is off-air, she can be found doing yoga or Pilates, sitting at her local corner coffee shop sipping on a chai latte, watching movies with her family or hiking with Cooper, her Cocker Spaniel.
