RBIRun in partnership with MLB, RBI is a school based program intended to provide children living in inner city communities the opportunity to participate in organized baseball. The program is implemented in partnership with schools in underserviced communities.
ROOKIE LEAGUE Rookie League operates all across Canada and is tailored to the specific needs, goals and assets of each community where it is run. It is designed to be a best-in-class experience that enables parents, caregivers and Elders to feel confident that their children are safe, active, surrounded by well-trained and inspiring local role models while engaging in activities that are specifically designed to help them learn essential life skills.
FIELD OF DREAMSField Of Dreams is Jays Care’s granting program dedicated to infrastructure development that provides a forum for youth to develop life skills and become more physically active. The Field Of Dreams program provides funding to design, refurbish and build safe spaces for children and youth across Canada.
HOME RUN SCHOLARSHome Run Scholars is Jays Care’s after school program run in partnership with organizations across the country. The program is designed to use the after school hours to enhance physical health, emotional well-being and academic success for kids who reside in priority or undeserved neighbourhoods.
CHALLENGER BASEBALLChallenger Baseball is an adaptive baseball program specifically designed to empower kids living with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. Through playing baseball, the program helps kids living with disabilities realize that they can and should participate in sport all while connecting players and families to a social network that is often lacking for children living with disabilities.
GIRLS AT BATGirls At Bat is Jays Care’s girls-only baseball program, designed for and by girls and young women with the goal of making playing and coaching baseball fun and safe for those who typically don’t have the courage to get involved in team sports. By combining fun, challenging baseball skills with team-building exercises and healthy activities, Girls At Bat empowers girls with the confidence, self-esteem and leadership capacity they need to succeed on and off the field.
