How do I return an item to TSC?
If you have a printer at home, the easiest way to return your item to us is by generating a return label online. Here's how:
- Sign into your account at TSC.ca/signin
- On the My Account hub page, click on ‘ORDER STATUS’ and find your order
- Click on ‘VIEW DETAILS’
- Click on ‘RETURN ITEM(S)’ for items you want to return
- Select the item(s) and provide a reason for return
- Review and generate the label
- Print the label and affix it with tape to the package being returned
Please note: Some items require you to contact our call centre to initiate a return or refer to the instructions provided in the package that was delivered to you. In some cases, our vendors will provide a PR code return ID number on the instruction letter that is inside your shipping package. To obtain a return label, you can enter it here.
For Marketplace items, please refer to the seller's page for return instructions. You can access it by clicking on the seller's name on the product details page below the 'Add to bag' button.
If you prefer, you can make your own arrangements with Canada Post or a courier company using their shipping label, and pay the shipper directly upfront. Please send your return to the address below. Please note that C.O.D. (Cash On Delivery) deliveries will not be accepted:

What if I'm unable to retrieve a returns label online?
If you do not have a printer, a TSC web account, or a computer, please call us at 1-888-2020-888 for assistance.
How long will it take to process a refund?
Please allow up to 7 business days from the date your package is received by TSC.
Your refund will be processed in the same form of payment originally used for your purchase. However, in some cases your refund may be processed in the form of a cheque. You can check the status of your return through your account at TSC.ca/MyAccount.
What is the cost to return an item?
Standard return shipping charges apply to return items to TSC unless the item was damaged or broken upon receipt or the wrong item was delivered.
Return shipping fees are based upon the item's shipping weight which is usually the same as the item's actual weight, unless the item and packaging is large or bulky, in which case an additional premium is added. For large or bulky items, typically 1 cubic foot is equivalent to 10 lbs shipping weight.

Can I choose my own return shipping method instead of paying the TSC return shipping charges?
Yes, you can return your order using the shipping method of your choice and pay the courier directly for the return shipping charges. If you choose to ship using your own method, the TSC return shipping charges will be waived and you will not be reimbursed for your shipping costs.
Please contact our Customer Care Centre at 1-888-2020-888 to confirm the specific return address for your item(s) to ensure they arrive at the correct return location. All returns must be clearly labelled and include a copy of the invoice for easy identification and processing.
What if I'm unable to return an item myself because it's too large?
If you're unable to return a heavy or large item yourself, please call us at 1-888-2020-888 and we will arrange a return of your purchase. This applies to large items such as fitness equipment, big screen televisions, etc.
How do I prepare large items for return?
Large items being returned must be securely wrapped in their original packaging and available for pickup in the same manner in which they were delivered. If an item is damaged in transit while returning to TSC due to insufficient or improper packaging it may result in the refund being denied.
If the item you purchased required assembly for use at home, you must disassemble it and put back in the original packaging before the courier arrives.
For hygiene safety when returning a mattress, it must be secured in sturdy plastic wrap before pickup. Mattresses that are not properly wrapped will not be picked up by the courier and may result in your pickup being cancelled.
For the health and safety of the courier drivers as well as our customers, items cannot be retrieved from within a residence. Items must be ready at the threshold or first point of entrance for your building. If you live in a condo or apartment, items must be brought down to the lobby.
Can I return an item in person?
We do not accept in-person returns.
