The reverse image by Canadian artist Greg Banning presents a pastiche of soccer images. Dominating the centre of the image is a portrait of a smiling young player about to kick a soccer ball. The child is dressed in the familiar uniform of Canadian children's soccer leagues across the nation, including a striped jersey, shorts, tall socks, shin pads and cleats. Behind him are the top of the three lobes of a stylized maple leaf. Behind the leaf image, the background is filled with the shouting, smiling faces and raised arms of a cheering crowd.
