Since the early 1960s, the Royal Canadian Mint has been issuing an annual set of high-quality Canadian coinage sealed in a special protective plastic. This collection showcases the transition of the monarch on Canada's coinage.

• 2023: Queen Elizabeth II posthumous final issue (all coins not issued for circulation)
• 2023: first King Charles III issue
• 2024: King Charles III issue

The first two sets in this collection sold out quickly from the Royal Canadian Mint and all sets in this transitionary period are highly sought after by collectors. Each set includes the two-dollar, one-dollar, 25-cent, 10-cent and five-cent regular denominations as well as the collector half-dollar coin. The coins come sealed in a protective clear packaging and are presented in a presentation folder featuring information about the coins. The 1968 set comes in an envelope, as originally issued.
