2024 King Charles III Half-Dollar Coin Roll: 25 Coins Numismatic Uncirculated

While King Charles first appeared on some coins in 2023, coins featuring the new monarch have remained scarce in circulation through 2024. But the scarcest of traditional denominations is the half-dollar which is only issued in special wrap rolls for collectors. The 2024 issue sold out from the Royal Canadian Mint almost immediately as it was released and can now be difficult to find in the secondary market. This roll contains 25 brilliant uncirculated 2024 half-dollar coins.

The half-dollar denomination in Canada dates back to 1870 and was for many decades the most important high-value denomination in circulation. While this now-unusual denomination has not been available through the banking system for more than 30 years, its legacy survives through special low-mintage collector coins still issued by the Royal Canadian Mint.
