The Broadcast Necklace, even though it was made as fashion jewellery with faux pearls, was one that could fit any or all. Made in the USA in the late 1940s, it was bought by Grace when she began her modelling career. Unless the shoot was for fashion, the models were expected to bring their own clothes and jewellery. Most shoots required the models to show up with multiple outfits, so the customer or the photographer could choose which outfit best showed off their products.
This necklace fit most scenarios, and was worn to numerous shoots. Grace was careful and remembered which outfits and accessories she wore with each photographer, so it always appeared that she had more outfits than she did.
