Removes up to 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns in size. Removes smoke, dust, pollen, pet hair and dander, mold spores and dust mites.
Coconut carbon pre-filter with EcoSilver:
Acts as first layer of filtration to capture larger particles before reaching HEPA filter, extending life of the HEPA filter. Anti-microbial properties of the silver nanoparticles inhibit the growth of microorganisms, mold and bacteria on the filter. Reduces VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Reduces household odors from cooking, cleaning, smoking and pets. Coconut carbon pre-filter helps remove moisture from the air. Coconuts are grown sustainably, more quickly and with less negative impact to the environment than comparable carbon product from bamboo.
Under normal conditions of continuous use, the pre-filter should be replaced every 3 months (approximately 2,160 hours) and the HEPA filter should be replaced every 6-12 months (approximately
4,320 hours). This estimate is only a guide. Depending on air quality and environmental factors, filters may need to be replaced more regularly. DO NOT use water, liquid or detergents to clean the filters.
