Since 1937, Canada's five cent coin issued for circulation has featured a beaver image designed by Canadian artist G.E. Kruger Gray.  For 2014, Kruger Gray's classic beaver also appears in pure gold on this 1/25th ounce 50 cent coin.  The coin features a double struck proof finish and fine detail, and provides collectors with the opportunity to own a pure gold coin with a classic Canadian design at an affordable price.  Mintage of this coin is limited to just 7,500 pieces.  

As a pure gold coin struck by the Royal Canadian Mint, this item is GST/HST exempt.
