The advent of coins in ancient Greece more than 2,500 years ago changed the world forever, widely expanding and simplifying trade and commerce, and allowing for the spread of ideas, culture and knowledge. The coins are in average circulated condition, well-used in commerce in ancient times but still showing solid design elements and effigies of the emperors.  Although there is a significant variety of emperors and types, the coins have not been attributed and have been randomly selected from a large coin hoard recently found in Europe. The result is that there may be some duplication of emperors, but there may also be rare emperors and coin types included.
