Product Overview
Canadian artist Alan Beddoe was tasked with revising the arms to reflect two elements preferred by Canada's new monarch, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She wanted St. Edward's Crown in place of the Tudor crown and a change of leaf colour from green to red.

Two years later, this was recreated by the Mint's master engraver at the time, Thomas Shingles. He reimagined the design for the half-dollar, which traditionally features Canada's coat of arms. The commemorative dates (1959–2019) are engraved in the same font used on the original issue.

• Ready to display in its limited-edition wooden case
