Product Overview
Celebrate Canada's favourite winter sport with this collection of Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post Montreal Canadiens–themed collector coins and souvenir stamp sheet. This collection includes a seven-coin gift set and a lenticular stamp.

Founded on December 4, 1909, eight years prior to the formation of the NHL, the Montreal Canadiens are the oldest and most successful franchise in professional hockey history. The numbers speak for themselves: 54 members of Hockey Hall of Fame, countless individual trophy winners, 15 retired jerseys, and of course, an NHL-record 24 Stanley Cup Championships, including an unprecedented five consecutive titles from 1956 to 1960 and an amazing 10 in 15 seasons from the 1964–65 season to the 1978-79 season.

Montreal Canadiens Seven-Coin Gift Set, 2006
This set includes the 1¢, 5¢, 10¢, 50¢, loon dollar and two-dollar coins, together with the special-issue coloured quarter featuring the team logo, all in numismatic uncirculated condition.

Lenticular Souvenir Stamp Sheet
Canada Post issued a stamp set honouring the team's centennial and its iconic jersey. The set includes a domestic-rate permanent stamp featuring a close-up of Maurice "Rocket" Richard's game-worn #9 hockey sweater, plus three high-value stamps featuring actual footage of the historic 500th goals of Maurice "Rocket" Richard, Jean Beliveau and Guy Lafleur. Using an action-oriented printing process, and digital footage of the Richard, Beliveau and Lafleur goals provided by the Canadiens, the stamps become mini-movies. When moved up and down, the actual sweep of action—from shot to goal, as it appeared in the original film clips—is visible on the stamps.
