From Confederation to the present, Canada has issued 168 different coins with special commemorative designs for circulation. This collection includes all 168 of them, all in original uncirculated condition. Historical information about every coin in the collection is also included, providing insight and appreciation for each special design. This collection comes fully assembled and displayed in custom presentation display cases. 

Highlights include Canada's first commemorative coin (silver dollar) issued in 1935 to mark the 25th anniversary of the reign of King George V, the 1939 royal visit silver dollar, the 1949 Newfoundland silver dollar, 1958 British Columbia silver dollar, all of the 1967 centennial coins, and the 1942–1945 war issue coins. Nine of the coins are struck in silver.
