18KT Yellow Gold JULES JURGENSEN Swiss Made Wrist Watch with a Brown Leather Strap

This vintage JULES JURGENSEN watch is Swiss made and crafted in beautiful yellow gold. It features a round champagne colour dial with black stick and dot hour markers. It runs on a 17 Jewel manual winding movement and is stamped case #781. The watch is attached to a brown leather strap with a base metal buckle.

Founded by Jürgen Jürgensen in 1740 in Denmark, Jules Jurgensen is one of the greatest vintage watch brands with timepieces no longer in production. Jules Jürgensen was sold to a U.S.-based company in 1936, but watches were still produced in Switzerland until 1957, when the documentation shows the watches were made by other manufacturers and branded with the Jürgensen name.

Jules Jurgensen Copenhagen produced many fine, different, and fascinating watches. Over the years, their watches have earned more than 32 international awards for design and quality workmanship.
