Discover the beauty of Canada's Atlantic coast with this 2024 $20 fine silver coin. The coin is the final issue in the Royal Canadian Mint's four-part series "This is Canada: Wondrous Waters," which explores the waters that surround us, from Canada's Pacific shores to our northern waters, and from the eastern seaboard to our southernmost lakes, capturing our coastal terrain and the wildlife that thrives on each coast. Compass elements also surround the engraved designs, to highlight the theme of exploring Canada.

This coin's design captures the iconic beauty of the landscapes and vistas of the Great Lakes. Designed by Claudio D'Angelo, the idyllic setting was inspired by the rugged shoreline of Georgian Bay and features a moose standing in water between rocky islands topped with windswept pines. Compass elements form a frame that contains the word "Canada" and a face value of "20 dollars."

The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
