22-Piece USA Silver Dollar Collection 1878–1935 plus Six Eisenhower Dollar Coins 1971–1978 (28 Coins Total in Two Mahogany-Finish Coin Cabinet Cases)

Own an amazing collection of American history with this high-quality collection of 22 different silver dollars dating back to before Thomas Edison's first lightbulb and just 13 years after the end of the Civil War. This comprehensive collection includes 22 of the 36 different dates of issue, starting with all 10 of the first dates of issue from 1878 to 1887.  Each coin has a weight of 27.3 grams of .900 fine silver, for a total fine silver content in the collection of 17.4 troy ounces. The coins range from Very Fine to About Uncirculated condition, and come displayed in two premium quality mahogany-finish presentation cases that stack together to form an elegant coin cabinet.

The first 16 coins in the collection are referred to as Morgan Dollars, issued from 1878 to 1904, and then again in 1921 (no silver dollars were issued from 1905 to 1920). These coins, designed by George T. Morgan, feature a Liberty head obverse design, while the reverse depicts an eagle with spread wings.

The remaining six coins in the collection are Peace-type silver dollars. This design was intended to usher in an era of peace following the end of World War I. The obverse design shows a Liberty figure with a radiant headband, similar to the Statue of Liberty, while the reverse features a bald eagle at rest clutching an olive branch, with the legend "Peace."  The 1935 Peace dollar was the last silver dollar to be issued for circulation in the United States.  

Large-size dollar coins resumed from 1971 to 1978, struck in copper-clad nickel, and six different dates of these coins are also included in the collection. These coins feature President Eisenhower and an eagle landing on the moon.
