Estate Originals Italian Made 18K Yellow Gold Multi-Gemstone Hoop Style Earrings with Omega Backs

These multi-coloured hoop style earrings are Italian made in yellow gold and contain a post with omega backs. They are more narrow at the top and graduate wider as they wrap in a circular fashion around the earlobe. Seventeen synthetic gemstones of various shapes are bezel set from top to bottom revealing negative space in between. Cut into round, marquise, princess, heart and pear shapes, these gemstones represent blue topaz, amethyst, peridot, citrine and garnets.

Synthetic gemstones look just like natural ones, but they're created by scientists in labs. Since they have the same physical and chemical structure, synthetic gemstones are still considered real. They just take months to form rather than millions of years. The resulting crystals have the same internal atomic structure as natural ones as well as the same optical properties, hardness, and chemical composition.
