2022-Dated (issued in 2023) Uncirculated Coin Set - The Last Coins of Queen Elizabeth II

For 70 years (starting in 1953), Canadian coins have featured an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This six-piece set features some of the last 40,000 coins of each denomination struck featuring the late Queen before new King Charles III coins went into production on November 14, 2023. While this set was issued in late 2023, all the coins are dated 2022, as 2022-dated coins were issued until the mint could complete design, approvals and tooling for new coinage featuring the new King.

The set features two different two-dollar coins including the regular issue and the memorial issue with a black outer ring. The loon dollar, quarter, dime and nickel are also included. The coins come sealed in a protective inert plastic and are displayed in an attractive gold-accented presentation, showcasing the collection as the last strikes of Queen Elizabeth II coinage.
